Colored vinyl! I remember spending so much time ruminating the potential importance of it all – swirled/translucent/stamped – almost ALWAYS done in desperate effort to distract from the lacking quality of the release from a musical standpoint. How many great records were pressed on colored vinyl (not counting the first Endpoint LP of course)?
